Is it better to wash windows in spring or Autumn?

Knowing how to best care for your windows can be a tricky task. You may be wondering how often you should be cleaning them, what equipment you require to do a good job, and when is the best time of year to clean your windows. We are here to give you our advice for the optimal time to give your windows a clean. Here at Prudential Window Cleaning, we have been in the window cleaning business since we were established in 1902 and we really care about our customer satisfaction. That is why we have put together this guide to advise on whether it is better to wash windows in Spring or Autumn.

First things first, what are the best conditions to wash your windows? Ideally, you would wash your windows in mild weather because there is no extreme heat and direct sunlight, as there is in Summer. The conditions should also not be too cold, as they are in Winter, which is a time which proves to be hard on your hands and icy windows.

Traditionally, Spring is the most popular time to have your windows cleaned. This is because pollen usually collects on the windows in this month, so it is recommended to clean your windows to remove this grime.

However, cleaning your windows in Autumn is an equally good idea because there is likely to be less rain, and the weather will still be warm around this time of year. We actually recommend that you wash your windows every month, so really suggest that both months are beneficial and have their perks. If you cannot face cleaning your windows in the other months, however, please do get in touch with our team here at Prudential Window Cleaning, as we would be very happy to get those windows crystal clear and clean.
